Chronicle Makers Tools
Research tools for family historians. Bring your research as it is today, and get it sorted, checked, and handed back with your next step.
Research tools for family historians. Bring your research the way it is today — in folders, in a tree, half of it in your head. The tools sort it, check it, and hand you the next step. Available only to members of the Chronicle Makers Community.
Shelf Check: Start here, at the beginning of a research project. Send a brain dump of everything you know and think, your research log, and a screenshot of your records folder. Messy is normal. Get your own thinking back organized, what you hold, where your notes disagree, and which records to transcribe first.
Second Look: (Coming Soon) Works inside Claude or ChatGPT. Do a research job in your own AI, then ask for a Second Look. It checks your work against your own records: what holds up, what is missing, and one next step. It never adds a fact.
Research Brain: (Coming Soon) Your research and your thinking, kept as you work. Tell your AI what you did after a session. It files a dated research note and updates your research log. Pick up where you left off, any time.
Ancestor Research Inventory: Use at the close of a research project. Every fact from your transcribed records, every conflict named, every source weighed. A plain reading of where the research stands: not yet, or complete for right now.
